KeepIt

The problem: read-later services own your archive. Pages you saved disappear when the company pivots, raises prices, or shuts down — and everything you clipped was sitting on someone else's server the whole time.

KeepIt is a browser clipper that saves pages to a server you run. No account, no cloud, no sync service in the middle. The archive is a folder on your own disk, readable without the tool that made it.

SpellBound

The problem: fixing one sentence with AI costs six steps. Copy the text, switch to ChatGPT, paste, prompt, copy the answer, switch back, paste again — every time, in every app.

SpellBound is a macOS menu bar app that removes the round trip. Select text anywhere, hit a shortcut, pick an action — the selection is replaced in place. It drives the system Accessibility API, so it works in every native and web app, not just a browser tab. Your own OpenAI key, kept in the Keychain, talking straight to OpenAI with no server in between.
